There has been some changes with Thinkhost's webmail. Hope this can help alleviate some of the recent frustration regarding accessing your email. First, know your Thinkhost Information - It's important to know what server you are on and what your username and passwords are for you account. If you need to get in touch with them, you will need this information. Visit: http://support.thinkhost.com to access the Knowledgebase, Check the Thinkhost network status, or submit a support ticket.
Thinkhost Status - With any hosting company, there are sometimes upgrades, or issues that may arise from time to time. Thinkhost provides a status to keep us informed. If you're experiencing any issues, the first step should be to check with this page: http://www.thinkupdate.com Support and Knowledgebase at Thinkhost - They have a knowledgebase that can assist with questions. You can also enter in support ticket if you are having issues. If you are a client of Balanced Webs, try contacting us first with your issue. If you are unable to reach us, then you should try and contact thinkhost's support. http://support.thinkhost.com Web Mail - Thinkhost has changed their email platform recently. Their navigation is sometimes not as intuitive as I'd like to see it. Here are some tips to access your webmail account: To access your web mail: http://mail.thinkhost.com If getting to your webmail through their main site: www.thinkhost.com, you click on Client Services, then under account interfaces, there is a link "hosting account and access webmail here" click that. You are then brought to the Control Panel window, you need to click on Web Mail, and then enter in your information. (I think it's easier to remember the url above, http://mail.thinkhost.com ) Regarding Web Mail, this only applies if you are accessing your email through the thinkhost server. You can set up your email so it directly is downloaded to an email client of your choice like Microsoft Outlook. Directions are in the Knowledgebase at Thinkhost. |
